I had such a good time with this book. A great whoddunit (I thought I'd figured it out and got it completely wrong!), a lovable set of characters (other than Edward!), and of course Fischer! I completely fell in love with Fischer the dog. And J New does such a great job of capturing that wonderful and quaint feel of a British rural village. Reading about this place and these people felt like coming home!You really can't go wrong with this book. I read it out of sequence, as my first intro to the series, and it worked perfectly - so grab whichever book in the series tickles your fancy, you won't regret it!
